it's official? what "IT"? well "it" is a two letter word which in y opinion deserves much more use than it gets...but i'm sure that's not what you mean. i actually have two official "its" today, the first you already know...and the second is a great big, really big, super duper big, just plain old big anouncement!! the first one is this. i am officially moving to tallinn. there's now way around it. do you know why it's more official now than it was yesterday? because i just packed up the most important thing, my most prized possession, to go with me to tallinn. i have packed up...MY X-BOX!!! NOOOO!!!! NOT THE X-BOX!!!! now i must officially move to tallinn because i can't play it in tartu anymore. it's packed up in it's box (the "x-box box" or "XBXBX" which looks much cooler.) and the x-box box is taped shut for two important reasons. first of all so my darling x-box doesn't become a smashed-box on it's way to tallinn. and second of all so that even if i am dying from the need to play it i can not get to it. well if i really needed to then neither tape nor box could stand in my way. but anyway, the box is all boxed up in it's box, so i must officially follow it to tallinn. sorry tartu girls, where the x-box goes, i must follow. lucky tallinn girls....
but anyway, what is my great big, really big, super duper big, just plain old big anouncement? you really don't know? well of course you don't, i haven't blogged about it yet! this summer i am going beyond tallinn...beyond estonia...beyond finland...beyond even america...this summer i am going to a place where no man has gone before, the wild coutry of...Canada!!! Vancouver to be exact. i'm going to take over canada, using a suitcase and a backpack. sound exciting? i bet it does but that's not really what i'm doing. i'm doing something a million trillion ga-billion times cooler, salvation army battle school!! no, i won't be shooting guns. no, i won't really be taking over canada. i will be getting hands on training in salvationism. isn't that cool? check out http://www.armybarmy.com/pdf/BattleSchool%20brief.pdf to read for yourself. this is gonna be awesome!! and you know what is awesome about if for YOU!! yes YOU!! on june 23rd i will fly out of helsinki and start a trip that will take me from helsinki finland, to london england and then straight to boston USA. and i haven't mentioned the best part yet, i'm going alone. i've never flown alone before, so this will quite an experience. then i'll spend a week in america with family (hey family, who wants me? e-mail me and let me know!!). and then july 1st i will fly out of boston and get my butt to chicago where i will switch planes to go to...(drumroll please)...VANCOUVER!!! and then i will spend some time with my family in canada (who i've never met but hey, anything to add to the adventure right?) and then on the 4th of july, rather than celebrating america's independence (we've been independent so long who cares anyway? oops, put down the gun!!) i will be in canada starting...BATTLE SCHOOL!!! awesome, huh? so anyway now you know what i'm doing this summer and i need to go, my parents are stuffing thier faces with chips and i want to get in on the action so, Cya!!
