and more and more to blog about

where did i leave off? oh yes, me and anneliplaying x-box. see i told you shes the only girl nerd i've ever found. so anyway we finished some wonderful games of "swoosh" we went and picked up sarah at the bus, so now reunited as friends we had fun just kinda coming home in the car and then walking in the house. and then it was time for me and sarah to go party (rock on!), so we met up with liis, maret and liis's friend, karin and went out to pizza at pronto pizza, at first liis tried to order for all of us and for some reason they were a jerk to her. she asked for some quattro formaggi pizzas, they said they couldn't make them any more. she asked for just plain cheese pizza, they wouldn't make it for her, it wasn't on the normal menu. so she comes back and tells us all this and i get kinda angry, it was her birthday and they wouldn't make her pizza? thats just wrong. so i say "sarah, come here. we're gonna try our american touch.", i have her grab her CD walkman and put it on, and the 2 of us go up to the counter together, wait in line, grab some sugar cubes out of a bowl and sing and talk loudly in english. so as we get up to the counter sugar cubes in our mouths i exageratedly look at a menu (i knew what i wanted) and said slowly and loudly in english like i thought she was deaf "i would like this (exageratedly pointing at the menu), the (looking at the menu like i have trouble reading) quattro formaggi? ya, quattro formaggi, i want that.".so as sarah dances with her music the girl behind the counter stares at me blankly and "says we can't make that, sorry" so i say "then can we have just plain cheese pizza, like only cheese and suace?" and she goes "sure" looking extremely happy to get me out of her face. so as we go we pop more sugar cubes in our mouths and start loudly singing linkin park. and no one has any doubt, we are american, really and truly american. we go back, tell our amazing story and got our pizza, and much fun was had by all. especially me, because i got most of the pizza, 2 of the girls wouldn't eat all theirs. stupid girls, never eating all thier food. why do you only eat a half portion of whats put in front of you?

so then we go and went bowling, or tried to, but we had finished eating early, like really early, and could't go bowling for a hour and a half so what had fun slowly, very slowly, walking to the bowling place but of course i don't walk slowly, so i quickly got bored and started jump up high places and stuff because i was so bored of going so slow! man, never tell me "slower" it's not good for my health. so then eventually we get there and wait outside for half an hour sitting on a bunch, well the lazy girls sat on the bench, i tried to climb a tree but noticed that i was getting just a bit to big for that and kinda almost broke the branch off. so then after a while of sitting around joking for a while we finnaly went in and found out we had the whole place to ourselves, so we got lane 3, justy because we felt like it and commenced bowling. i used to be in a bowling league and therefore getting my butt kicked in bowling is very humiliating, especially by 4 girls, but sadly, i did get my butt kicked by 4 girls. i stink. sarah wasn't doing to good and we decided that it must be the music, they where playing some annoying euro-techno thing, and so me and sarah decided to ask if we could have them put on our music, they could, PARTY! so as our american music came on we started doing better, but i still lost every game.

and then after that we went to her house and had fun eating marshmallows, and watermelon and other such delicious stuff. and i tried petting her cat and that thing scrathed my hand, ow, that hurt! theres these two scabs on my hands from where two of its claws got me, that hurt! so for the rest of the night i knew to fear the cat. FEAR THE CAT!!!! so then we looked at pictures of liis when she was little, which i guess is what girls do at parties like that. and i started to feel more and more akward by the minute. then the ultimately akward thing happened. one girl (i won't give names) almost had a a girly meltdown, which i must say was a very close shave, too close for my liking. and then another girl (no name) had a full blown girly freak! curled up on the floor crying included. man i was freaked out, for like half an hour now i had been saying "hey sarah, WHEN SHOULD WE GO!!! hint hint!!" and a minute before the meltdown we had been about to go. so then the meltdown started getting worse "i wish i were dead..." and it eventually ended with a 20 minute phone call on MY MOBILE PHONE!!! when this type of thing happens girls get sympathetic, but i get mad. and i almost did get really mad, i needed my phone, and i wanted to leave. and i couldn't do either.

well anyway, me and sarah finally ditched them and took off, glad to get home i checked out inuyasha (a cool anime) online with anneli, and had fun reading about giant hairballs and cursed combs. then we played swoosh more while everyone else watched "joe someboday", we had both seen it and swoosh is so fun. so then next day, oh wait, this post is already so long, i'm gonna finish it later. tsau everyone, Cya later.

so much to write, so very, very little time!!

ok, i have 1 hour to write, and i have like almost a week, no wait, it's only been a weekend!?!? well anyway, i have a lot to write! and only an hour, ugh! ok, this will be hard, i have 2 chicks bugging me on MSN and i don't have the heart to tell them i'm busy...whatever. ok, once again i shall start where all good stories start, if you haven't guessed, it's the beggining! ok, as i stteped outside of my "bubble of non-reality", and as i looked at the world around i was filled with fear...no wait, that never really happened...oops! well anyway on what i believe was friday (my brain seems kinda screwy) anneli and sarah were supposed to come to tartu, anneli to help translate with our first church service, and sarah to go to our friend liis's birthday party(i really wanted her to come so i wouldn't be the only american). but becuase of a wonderful set of events sarah got left in tallinn but anneli made it here, lifes crazy, whatever. so anyway that was nice, me and anneli got to have a nice talk without any amercan interuptions, which was cool becuase one thing i love about talking to anneli is that we just talk about anything, nothings too stupid. so we talked about her time in america, my summer in estonia, our wonderful adventures (some the you will NEVER see on this blog, hehehe.....). and after a while our talk digressed to sailor moon (hey, i said nothings to stupid for us) and we ended up trying to read a sailor moon book she had in japanese. oh, what fun.........

now let me clear some things up, anneli is 16, really into anime, and i call her my freaky friend and she calls me her freaky friend. she is the first real girl nerd i have ever met, and so i love hanging out with her. and no, shes not like wierd or anything, just becuase she's 16 and still likes sailor moon doesnt mean shes that crazy....

so then after a nice nights sleep (i got the couch, anneli got my room) i woke and tried to watch TV with elizabeth and anneli, which was torture becuase it was a mix of info-mercials and dubbed over amercian cartoons...oh, the evil! and so after learning about the wonderful qualities of the "h2o-vac" we had breakfast and decided to go into the town center in search of good times, americans and nerdy landmarks. being me i knew where to find all 3, so with video camera in hand we went out and scared the crap out of everyone we could find, we only got 8 minutes of video tape but it was still awesome. we went around town and visited all the famous landmarks from our world famous "home video #1", and had all sorts of fun. we even visited nerd central, võlukamber (magic chamber) and checked out the anime. then we came back home and played some wonderful games of "swoosh" (star wars:battlefront on xbox). and then...*yawn*...oh look at the time, im going to bed, Cya.

and what shall i write about today? not much really......

well i just got off the phone with anneli, who got back to estonia yesterday. and man was i happy to talk to her again. you know she is the only person i can actually stand talking on the phone with? talking on the phone with anyone else drives me crazy! so heads up, don't call me and expect a long conversation. and so as i was saying (or typing, or maybe writing? what ever!), me and anneli had a nice chat on the phone, we talked about america and other such fun things. it appears that going to america has turned her into what i was (or am), a nerd. i consider my self a recovering nerd/video game addict (you seriously can get addicted), she is now aparently a getting worse anime freak. it's nice to know that now i will have someone who can understand me, at least a little. so hopefully she and her sister will come to tartu soon becuase i am dying to hang out with them! well anyway, as i was writing this i had a conversation with someone who i will name the "dark blank", and the "dark blank" put me in a very bad mood. i will not say more, i will just say goodnight, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite (and if they do, shoot 'em!). goodbye,

Chris

of brown water, baby poop, and cleaning up the aftermath.

now with a title like that you know this post is gonna be good. first i'll start with brown water, i woke up today to find that all the water in the house was brown. as in all the water from the shower, toilet, or sink, or basicall anything else was brown. so what fun, that meant no shower. whatever, i needed to mow the lawn anyway, that type of thing gets me nice and stinky. so thats interesting, don't know why exactly you needed to know that. but anyway i hear the water is back to normal now.

and as for baby poop, today as i was watching my super cool baby bro peter (17 months) i notciced that he stunk, no offense to hime, but he stunk bad! as a rule, i don't change diapers, thats my parents job. so since my parents where busy at the moment i thought i'd wait a few minutes, the smell got worse. so finally i took him to my parents who were in the middle of discussing one important thing or another, i boldly stolled up and said "peter stinks", but of course i had to wait for them to finish thier talk before they would hear me. so as i stood there with my nose scrunched up i noticed the smell get stronger, and whats worse...i noticed a strange sensation on my arm. i yelled "PETER'S LEAKING ON MY ARM!!!", that got my parents attention. so as they changed his diaper i ran off to wash my arm off in the sink (hey! the waters not brown any more!). oh, what fun adventures me and my brother have. man, i love him!

and cleaning up the aftermath. if you have been paying attention then you know i have not had 1, not 2, but 5, i repeat 5 girls in my room! i had 2 girls from narva, 2 from tallinn (one american) and one from kavastu (near tartu). now don't think i was also in that room, heck no. i was upstairs on the couch. they tottaly kicked me out! but believe me, i thought i was messy until this last week, sarah and the other girls showed me up. im still finding things, a broken pair of sunglass's, lipstick, what looks like 2 shirts of sarah's, and someone forgot thier whole sleeping bag, i don't know how you forget something so obvious. and so now i am busy cleaning up the after math, but it does have its hidden little perks. i found sarah's yellow card CD! i'm thinking of saying finders keepers here, i like yellow card! but anyway tommorow i go up to tallinn and i'm gonna turn over anything i have found to miss sarah wittenberg, and she can find the proper owners. oh and, one nice thing i wanted to mention before i finish this post is that i was in narva yesterday and i was talking with masha and she said she had a picture of me from prague and she showed it to a friend of hers (a girl) and her friend said "oh, what a handsome guy!". ever had someone say something that just about shoots your self esteem through the roof? thats what this did for me. now i guess i'm considered attractive by russian girls everywhere (but, is that a conpliment?), so i feel very happy. oh and another thing, tommorow anneli and evelin return to estonia. i am so totally there! i'm gonna be at the airport to pick them up, this is like super major excitement! these are like my oldest friends in estonia. before me and the wittenberg girls could really be considered friends, before i started hanging out with other estonians, there was anneli and evelin. they will always be my special friends. and, god, i can't wait to see them. so tommorow i am not available to do anything, so dont even ask. so now i'm tired of typing have no reason to stay on so i'm gonna go, Cya later.

your "handsome guy" (thanks masha),
Chris

hey people!

the fact that your reading this makes me assume that you are interested in what i have to write about. like, for example, my life. either that or your bored out of your skull. doesn't really matter much to me, just as long as you read. so now i'll tell you more about this VBS thing we've been doing, which is, sadly, over now. ok so thursday, once again we performed at eeden, and walked forever to hand out fliers, and all that fun stuff. and then at 4:30 (16:30) when we started the kids program we had not 1, not 2, not 10, but 15 kids!! 15!! now to me thats awesomely exciting. we played games and had fun, and the theme was "taste the living water". so we had fun doing taste tests with the kids, giving them exotic foods and candys such as "reeses" and "marshmallows". which i wouldn't think exotic but were very exciting to the kids. and to my great surprise everyone thought that the reeses were nasty, which was extremely upseting to me becuase it meant some wasted reeses, i would have happily devoured the precious candy if they didn't want it (you can't get reeses in estonia, so to me and most other americans here it is a rare and treasured treat). we then had fun having my mom talk about what "living water" was and what it all was supposed to mean. and we did the "river dance" that sarah had been teaching us, becuase you know river, water, they kinda go together. and then we had fun roasting marshmallows, which was of course delicious.

then after all the kids went off home me and sarah had fun doing what i will call "american in estonia idol". which was fun, we started out with me singing some yellow card ("if i could find that cow......" sorry inside joke, hi sarah!) and sarah singing her stuff and it ended with us doing a duet of linkin park's song "numb:encore", which was fun. and then we printed out the words to the song "broken" by seether and learned that song becuase that was a guy-girl duet that both sounded cool and included amy lee as the female singer. so that was cool, and just to finish it all of we did a duet to that linkin park song that i can never remember the name of (you know the one "...but in the end it doesn't even matter..." "....i put my trust in you..." and so on and so on), which was awsomely fun.

then next day we had fun doing all the usual stuff, except today we did "riverdance" at eeden, which actually got us a bit of a crowd. so the fact that sarah and liis spiked my hair and tied red ribbons to my hands and around my head was ok, if not slightly humiliating. and then that night we had some kids come half an hour early, so we said "ok, it's only like 5 kids, they can come in and play" and next thing we knew, BAM 2o kids, we had to organize fast, but amid the chaos we had loads of fun. and in the middle of it all the wittenbergs showed up which was cool. so the theme for the night was "run the good race", so course we had relay races, and just race races, and so on and such. and we did riverdance for them and believe it or not they didn't laugh, they actually liked it! it was all fun, and then after all that we roasted marshmallows and had fun in the general chaos of it all (20 kids=chaos), and it was especially fun for me becuase as the only teenage guy all the boys thought it was thier sworn duty to destroy me, and i'm always up for a fight but with 10 year olds? i have now mastered the art of beating up someone without actually hurting them, or touching them really. so that was fun, especially with this once kid, andre, who kept tackling julia, one of the helpers from narva. so i had to defend her by tickling him to death whenever he'd jump on her. all in all a fun day.

so then after we finnaly got all the little brats home (i'm kidding, they were good kids), we all went inside and got everyone ready to go home, the mission team was leaving. except of course me becuase i lived there, and the narva girls, who go back to narva with us on sunday. but before everyone left me and sarah gave them a final perfomance, we sang that linkin park song with the name i can never remember, with me rapping most of it and her joining me on the chorus. and then we did our grand finale, seether "broken". the whole time everyone was laughing and taking pictures during both songs, though they were both rather depressing songs, the way me and sarah sang it it became funny. and then everyone went home and i had a chance to sit back relax and play on the computer, something i had needed for a long time.

and now it's saturday, i am officially declaring this RNR (rest 'n relaxation) day, god knows i need it. so now i say goodbye, for now. thanks for reading,

evryones favorite idiot, ;)

yo, guess who?

its me! Chris! everyones favorite funky dude is back for more wondeful blogging action! now let me tell you something awesome. im hoping you've been keeping up with my blog and you know that we're having a vacation bible school (VBS) type thing in our back yard. and so far its going awesome. the first day we had 4 kids. they where all between 9 and 11, except for one little dude who was 5, so technically he wasn't supposed to be there. this thing is for ages 7-18. the second day we had 2 girls, so what if it was half the group we had before, it was someone. i'm surprised anyone actually came, so i'm happy no matter what. and then today i could not believe it, we had 9 kids! so what if 3 kept leaving, and so what if them and 3 others took off as soon as we were done eating, we still had 9 at one point. so now i will do my best to tell you about everything, very breifly.

on the first day, after some fun practicing and teaching sarah the evanescence drama (my personal favorite), we went to eeden (a nearby mall) and did a awesome performance, dancing and doing dramas. the only problem was that the second line dance we do, none of us really knew that well, and, well, i'll say it bluntly, we STUNK! and to make it better, we where dancing to a 5 minute song...oh, well. comedy always suited me better anyway. then we did the evanescence drama and, don't tell sarah i said this but, sarah did awesome! she picked it up so quick, and did it so well! but like i said, don't tell her i said that. and so that was cool. and then that night as we were walking in to town to hand out fliers we met up with liis and maret, who had been planing to come at 4 anyway, and when we told them we were going to hand out fliers they came along too. liis was like super flier hand out girl, it was awesome. and maret had a broken leg so...yeah. and then after a fun time handing out fliers we got home and had 3 kids show up at the door pretty fast, which was wicked cool. and then we knew there was a little girl living a ccross the street so we had liis go and give her a flier, and so soon she was over here too. the theme for the night was "be strong". so we did all sorts of strong type things, like tug of war! which just about ripped my hands off but was still fun. and then that night sarah started teaching us "river dance", which of course made me look like a retarded leprechuan, but was awesome fun.

so then next day in both the morning and the afternoon we went to hand out fliers, and again we performed at eeden, doing better this time. and this time only the girl from accross the street (whos name is "etthel", like ethel in english) and her friend came but we still had fun. the theme for the night was "listen" so we did the evanescence drama, becuase in the drama kristel has to choose who to listen to, the evil one (me, of course) or the good one (sarah). and we continued to teach them the line dance, which we had started teaching the day before. and so we had tons of fun with that. and then since it didn't rain we roasted marshmallows, which was wonderfully tasty! and sarah, liis and veronika dragged me over and made me do more river dance, i'm getting better. then that night me, sarah and maret walked liis home and underestimated the distance, so we didn't get home until almot 11:30. man we were dead tired.

so then today, once again we handed out fliers, did a great performance at eeden, and had people come. only today was cool becuase the girl etthel came and handed out fliers with us, which is great becuase people would much rather take a flier from a nice little girl than from a big creepy dude like me. and then tonight our theme was "follow me" ("me" being jesus). and so we had fun playing all sorts of games, and having to run inside to avoid rain. and then we did a craft where we made cross's and as we did that kristel read from a little book about jesus dying on the cross and everything. and so now we just finished watching "america's next top supermodel" (eva won!), and are now watching "monk". which is hilariously funny. so i'm gonna go now, becuase i'm so tired of typing. bye, Cya.

just a quick note.

yo, at the moment i am seriously lacking time to blog. therefore this will be quick. just so you know i might not be able to blog all this next week. we are having a kind of vactation bible school (VBS) at our house and so me and the mission team are going to be dead busy with that. but anyway, i promise i will finish writing about prague. but if you have a minute, drop a quick prayer for me and the mission team this week, i think we might really need it by the end. well anyway, once again i would like to thank you for reading. this is Chris Clark, your crazy american friend in estonia, signing off.

thanks for reading everyone,
Chris (best, and only, soldier of the tartu corps)

AH HAH! GOT IT!

hey, i found the schedule online so i can now finish writing! and by the way, if you have not already read the post below this, please do. so after that we had something i had been dreading...the ICE BREAKER!!! ever since first arriving i noticed a card in my name tag saying "ice breaker:group 8". now for all of us this had made us wonder, we asked questions like "whats an ice breaker?" or "how come i can't find anyone else in my icebreaker group" and of course "ice breaker? should i bring warm clothes?". not really, that last one i made up. but the whole thing was surounded by mystery. so as he explained it we learned we had to go to the place on the wall where our number (example number "8" for me) was. once we got there we found a bag, when we looked in the bag we found...some junk! and some papers telling us to make art for a display. this was fun becuase half our group was british, which was so cool with me (i love british people!) but the other half, they were french. now the french are cool, just...hard to work with. so as the brits and i sat back and every now and then said things like "oooohhh" or "good, man, good" as well as "nice, i like that!" the french made a wonderfully confusing piece of art, but at least it didn't resemble the mona lisa, so i was happy. so then after that confusing thing the general, the international leader of the salvation army got up and spoke. it was quite good, his subject was "is the army relevent today?" and his answer was "yes, if...". if what you ask? if we live up to our name and work well as an army and such other fun things.

then after this we had a nice supper, i don't quite remember what it was but i think it was good. and then after that we had the "main meeting". this was an awesome meeting that included great worship, a great message, and a great time to pray. that is one thing above all else i loved about this, i got so close with the other people on the team. it was nice to pray together. and then after that some of the teritory's did presentations. this included hollands awesome rap session (including a little parody of the song "blue da ba dee" which i love and know by heart) and latvia who did a dance to the song "irene" by TobyMac. so of course this was a TobyMac song and i not only knew the words but quite enjoyed singing along. but the said part was that becuase the song was so long the sound board people had to cut it short, taking off the best part, oh well...so then after all that we had a nice little time chilling out at the after hours cafe hanging out and talking to people, it was fun. and then we went home, and on the tram i was remind of the bible verse "hard pressed, but not crushed" or whatever. becuase there was not room in that tram, but we squeezed, and we sang. and then, excuasted we went back to our tents. but me and tanel didn't sleep. becuase first of all he was missing, and then secondly i was cold and wanted a drink and wanted to find tanel. so i went and got some hot chocolate, found tanel, and then cruised back to the tent and slept, and beleive it or not slept well.

whew, i'm tired. i'll write more later, Cya.

more and more about prague for everyone!

ok, now i will write more about prague. but first i have an anouncment to make. i have lost my schedule from prague and now may tell things in the wrong order. i was so tired during most of congress that its all a blur. a very clear, happy blur. but still a bit of a blur. so i'm not completely sure what happened what days. what ever, if i make a mistake now i can correct it later.

so after my first wonderful night sleeping (hah, yeah, sleeping!) in a tent i got up and had a wonderfully small breakfast, a single croisant. i was hungry. it was at this point that a figured out that the camp ground had 2 very convienent things. first of all, a small store, good for buying candy and cookies. and second of all there was a funny little machine that for the price of 10 czech kroons (5 estonian kroons and maybe 50 cents in america) down would drop a nice little cup, not only that but that nice little cup would begin to fill up with nice, warm, delicious hot chocolate. it was some of the best i've had in a while. it was extrodinarily good, and extrodianrily addictive. i had 19 cups my whole time in prague. so after a cup of that to warm and wake me i went to the tent and found out we didnt have to be there till 12, for lunch. so that gave us a while to chill, and thats excactly what we did. but then of course being smart like we are we left early and go there in time do get our official congress t-shirts (very cool) and do some shopping. which was surprisingly fun (i HATE shopping).

then we had lunch, it was great. some big long sandwiches and BLTs to boot. it was awesome. and of course the french did not eat thier BLTs, being satisfied with only one sandwhich so i ended up with quite a supply of extras. then we went into the main hall and met everyone, as in the worship band, and the general, and all the cool people and such. so after some talking and music we had a rather cool (well, i thought he was cool) british guy named matt clifton do a bible study, which i enjoyed. and then, and then....aw god i don't remember! man tommorow i am so gonna find that schedule and write you up a full report. i know i remember what happened, i'm just not sure what it was! well whatever, Cya.

Thursday, August 11, 2005

and now for more about prague.

if you have not already read the post below this one please scroll down and read. now let me see, after i fought off the SWAT team with a couple rubber bands...joke again, sorry, i'm bad. so we get to the airport after a wonderful flight and as we came out of the terminal we saw the fins (as in the people from finland) and said a quick hi. and then kati, our big, all powerful leader from finland, showed us how to get our stuff. our stuff turned out to be a packet full of papers and a red lanyard with a nametag/travel pass on the end, useful stuff i guess...so then we went to the bus and went into town. at every place where we got off the bus we had some nice salvation army people waiting for us to show us which tram to take, or which way to go. the only problem was that these were nice, FRENCH, salvation army people. now i personaly have no problem with the french, as long as they speak english. but no, these guys couldn't speak english they wanted us to speak FRENCH! so i was about to tell them how i knew how to curse in russian, not french, and give them a few russian lessons, but then we figured out a kind of pointing system and figured out where to go.

then at the campsite we learned the fine art of setting up a tent, and getting a tent. waiting for "tent guy" felt like it took up the better part of 2 hours. so then after the tents were all ready we went to check out the showers, not use them, but just know where they are. and who do we meet in them shower hall way but a latvian! those dang latvians...god i love 'em! and so we cornered her and talk her into the floor until it was obvious she was bored of us and every one but tanel (my rather "enthusiastic" friend) was bored of bothering her. so then her friend got out of the shower and we all clapped, and her friend had absolutely no idea why a big group of estonians were clapping for her. so then why walked back to camp together with the latvians and as they walked they learned that we had 2 americans with us, me and mrs. wittenberg. and they informed us they had a american too, an american by the name of liz brown...RIIIING...RIIING somehow that name rang a bell and i remembered a number my mom had given me, the number of some other american she knew would be there. i checked the name...liz brown. i said hey, i know your american. i gotta meet up with her sometime. and then later that night coming through the darkness i saw 4 figures. 1 was definitely tanel, and i recognised the other 2 as latvians, but who was the 4th? i quickly found out as she ran up to me, gave me a big hug and said "you've gotten SOOO BIG!!". now this is only the millionth time thats happened to me so i knew how to keep my cool, i went braindead. who was she excactly? oh yaaa liz brown, i remember. so after talking with the latvians and liz brown a bit they went back to their hostel (fancy latvians, staying in a hostel!) and we went out and got breakfast for the next morning. we ended up finding a nice place called "beulevard crocodile", which we thought sounded good becuase none of us had ever eaten crocodile before and wanted to try. the store actually sold sandwhiches and such. i got a croisant for my breakfast. now we didn't know it yet but it turs out this place actually catered the whole congress! it shouldn't have been that hard, there were only 850 all together. well anyway after that we all went back to the campsite and had a well deserved sleep in our tents, only i shared a tent with tanel so i only kinda got enough sleep but, what ever. well anyway, now i'm done for the moment, i'll tell you more later! Cya.

hello everyone!! i have amazing news!! i've been quoted!!

hello everyone! may i have your attention please!! SHUT UP AND GIMME SOME ATTENTION. guess what, i have been quoted. some random girl who by some crazy coincidence f0und my blog read it, liked it, and actually quoted my last post!! i am highly honored, i have never had my blog quoted (in a positive way) before. and she likes evanescence, relient k and monty python. which makes her the first (and probably last) girl who i've met who likes all 3. and her names meg, which when i saw that "meg" had commented on my blog i instantly thought it was meaghan wittenberg, which made me brace myself for a volley of burning sarcasm that a knew was coming my way. but then i read "Don't worry, I'm not some weirdo that is reading your blog. I'm just Meg...." and i slowly learned that this was not, in fact, someone who wanted to give me wonderful, character building insults. but instead someone who enjoyed reading my blog. and as i read her blog i noticed her mention that she has the same disease i do, she has trouble shuting up. in her own words she said "....after 18 years I still haven't learned how to shut up.....", i've had fifteen years to work on it and if you know me you know that i just never stop. i'm like a energizer battery, i just keep going, and going, and going....

now enough about that, i'm am gonna write a little section here that i will dedicate to meg (not you in tallinn!) and anyone else who may read my blog but is clueless as to who i am. let me start at what some call...i never use the same dumb joke twice. especially not in the course of 2 blog posts. so hey, i live in estonia (say it with me people, E-S-T-O-N-I-A!), shoved in between latvia and russia. i am origianlly from america, don't ask which state becuase i'll name 6. i speak english fluently (duh!) and am working on estonian (eesti keelt) and russian (pah roosky). my estonian is much better than my russian though. and in my spare time i pretend to speak latvian (ISVERIES!!). why am i living in estonia? well i never really thought about it before...i am a missionary for the salvation army (päästearmee)! we just "officially" opened our church (corps) a few months ago. and i am now working my butt off to get this church runing! i swear i do more work than my parents! i just sent a email to 48 people to promote a youth event. ever wonder why i'm always so tired? and just so you know some recent history, i just got back from the salvation army european youth congress in prague. and now i am writing about it. now i am going to finish this post and start a new post about prague, and if you have not already read that then please scroll up and read, thank you. Cya.

hey everyone! now for more about prague!

let mne start where most things should start, what some people call THE BEGINING!!! IN THE BEGINING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH....no wait, not that early of a begining. ok, in the begining, i woke up and quite exitedly remembered that that day (wednesday) was the day i go to prague!! prague!! and as i woke up i looked at the clock...oh, i have an hour and a half to get ready for prague...i can rest a little more...AN HOUR AND A HALF!!! oh crud... so i ran around and got ready in more than enough time to catch the bus to tallinn. the trip was uneventful and nice. i got there and promptly met up with major wittenberg, who i was overjoyed to see, i hadn't see a single wittenberg in what felt like forever, and missed them very much. so then he took me to the corps where after saying hi to everyone and promptly hacking the computer lab computers (its dead easy, but i'm not telling you how) i sat down and listened to good music and witched the evanescence "bring me to life" music video for the millionth time, and then stuck my stuff in the car along with eero, masha, tanel, caroliina, and mrs. wittenberg's bags. and then we drove to the airport and got on the plane. and this trip was extra fun becuase half our little group had nevewr flown before. so we had fun saying things like "oh its fun...as long as you don't crash bad when you land" or "i've only had the engine explode a few times and i only got a little burn". it was quite fun, and they loved flying.

and then we got to prague and were instantly assaulted by a SWAT team, they heard a salvation "army" was coming...no, not really. im tired and done writing, but more will come tommorow!! goodbye. sleep well!!

i ache all over!! and my nose is running so fast i can't catch it!!

ohhhhh........i'm back from prague. and in prague i played a gmae they called "big five", i personally however, call it death ball. five different ways to score, four teams, 140 players, and a million ways to get hurt. i tried every way i could find to get hurt. from tackling 3 people at once to geting trampled by ten enemies pushing a big yellow ball. and then when i went to supplement my teams defence by becoming a human wall against a soccer ball i got a wonderful knee in the mouth. and this whole time the only way to identify who was on what team was to see what color plastic plate they had tied around thier neck, but of course if you kno me then you kno i was purposefully putting myslefin positions where i would both get beat up and have my plate ripped off. so after about 2 minutes of playing the plate was ripped off and so i was force to fold it in half and place it between my teeth so my team would know that i was thier most dangerous player. i still have the remains of the plate actually, and the condition its in gives testament to the violence of the game. and so now, days later i ache all over, and have a wonderful cold from sleeping in a "water bed". i slept in a tent, it rained quite heavily, therefore my nice little sleeping bag turned into a very wet nice little sleeping bag. not at all a comfortable experience.

so now i would like to stop typing even though have only been typing for a very short time. im tired and sarah is online. i have not talked to sarah in quite a while and would like to. and anneli was on earlier, and i pray with all my heart she will come back on. she is the one person i want to talk to the most right now, but i doubt she will come on. what ever, Cya,

wowowow, hey guess what!! its me!! i'm back!!

yo, i'm way to busy to tell you everything thats happened since i last blogged. so, long story short. 13 year old guy moved in with us, interesting, went to an english camp, met nice girls, and blalalalala. thats life. nii hull (so crazy). i can't find the song lyrics of the song i wanted to write about but i'm in a good mood anyway!! so what to write about, i'm happy cuz despite the fact that my favorite CDs got stolen in tallinn i still have stuff to listen to. and i'm happy cuz i've been sending emails to anneli in america quite a bit. and cuz i've talked to both meaghan AND matt in america online today, what luck!! and meaghan was nice to me!! wow!!! soooo, if your reading this please do me a favor and send 1 mil bucks to....oh wait, i mean. hey, you know some missionarys get what are called care packages, and i was thinking if anyone cared they would send a care package to me, er, i mean, us. so let my greedy little self write wish list up for all you people who care, and i will put it on the bottom of this blog post along with my adress. oh and more news, i haven't played yugioh in an eternity. and anyway all my best cards (and i mean ALL) got stolen in tallinn with my CDs. so if you caring people send me stuff yugioh cards would be apreciated, if you can figure out where to buy 'em. so hey guess what!! i'm goin' to prague, as in check republic, as in cool. and guess what's happening in prague. nothing much, only the BIGGEST, KEWLEST, MOST TOTALLY AWESOME, europeian youth congress. they needed cool young people from estonia and i said to myself "i'm young, i'm living in estonia and, well, i'm not hot so i must be cool!!". so thats major exitement for me. and i think thats it so, Cya.

Chris's Greedy Wish List
if you got time in america drop in to a gamestop and try to pick me up a game called "star wars:obi wan" for xbox. buy it used and if they try to sell you it used for more then ten dollars then either smack them upside the head, or lean over and whisper in their ear "darth kurisu shall have his revenge!!!" and storm out of the store.
and if you have a bit more money on you, you could pick up either "star wars:republic commando" or "star wars:battlefront 2". and again buy them used, if possible. but they probably will be a bit more then ten dollars.....
and if you really love me you could walk into any toys r us (or juku if you live in estonia, even though i know you don't) and find some yugioh cards, buy anything you want, boosters, theme decks, fakes, no no no, not fakes. anything is useful to me now that my best cards are sadly no more.
and hmmmmm, if your short on cash then pick me up a good root beer, a good brand, like barks (i know thats not how you spell it but whatever) or A&W. or reeses are always loved.
Thank You in advance, becuase i know someone will care enough to get me something....;)
