Friday the 13th was a very lucky day...

or if you, like me, aren't really into luck then you might say it was a very good day. let me tell you about so that i can smash any belief that friday the 13th is unlucky. on friday the 13 i woke up nervous. partly becasue it was friday the 13th (i am still a slightly superstitious person simply because it makes life more funky) and partly because i knew i was meeting some new people today. and let me tell you, i HATE first impressions. because i'm always horrible. so that day i went to Kadriorg park to see the palace (and cottage) of Peter the Great. it was fun especially because i was hanging out with two other missionary families, the Banks and the Masons. altogether there were three other teenagers and a TON of little kids. i can't remember anyone's name. but boy was it one crazy blast. i wouldn't really say i made any new friends, but i didn't make a total and complete fool of myself like i normally do. so that was very lucky. then that night was my favorite night. YOUTH NIGHT!! so i went to the corps and after dancing and drama'ing my butt off we had youth night. now that was brief. let me extrapalate. i'm not sure if thats a real word but i sure like the sound of it and i think i heard it somewhere before. what made this night especially nice is that as i shook my cute little tush two girls, (one who was blond and i know i recognize) who i later learned were named Kristi and Jaana, watched. i always perform better at drama, dance, video games, blogging...anything really, if i can flirt as i do it. and so i did. and apperantly i didn't scare them away because Kristi came today for church (YAY!!).

and that wasn't all that was good. Anneli and Evelin (two of my favorite girls on earth) were in charge of youth night. and because it was my friend Sergei's 21st birthday for some reason we all dressed like children and played children's games. that was fun. i looked great with my teddy bear. and Anneli looked like something out of Sailor Moon. it was fun. i especially enjoyed the jump rope type game that my team kicked butt in. it was awesome. i've heard in america we'd call it chinese jumprope. but i'm not sure it's the same. anyway, the home made super pickled pizza was also beyond perfection. i loved every second of it.

and the good luck didn't end then, the next day i went to Stockmann for Hullud P2evad (forgive my use of a 2 in the place of a with dots) which means Crazy Days! and it was crazy! the place was packed. it was shoppo-mania! it was fun. but guess what. i was babysitting most of the time. but i did get 10 minutes to look around for the holy grail. ever since our last computer was stolen with my "Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete" CD i have been searching for the best priced replacement. and i found it. i had originally paid 150 Krooni (12$) for it and Stockmann not only had that at the same price but for a mere 50 krooni more they had that plus "Heroes of Might and Magic IV Complete" so despite the fact that that Heroes V is already out i'm still tottally phsyched about having Heroes III back and being able to play Heroes IV for the first time. and all for 200 krooni. and did i mention the best part? my parent's reimbursed me for the loss of my stolen game (150 Krooni) and my sister wanted to share the game with me so i payed 25 and she payed 25, so i payed 25 krooni for 2 great games. there's only one thing i can say to that! SWEET!

so now i must go, i just got a new game! i should try it out! Cya!
